After you have learned them, you will need to read and memorize others.American History: Students must write about what American-related events shaped the way Americans think about themselves, their nation, and their place in the world. Topics to consider are slavery, segregation, civil rights, reconstruction, racism, war, slavery, and the Civil War. Social Studies: Use the basic facts of a person's life and use them to explore issues or controversies. Use resources such as census data, contemporary newspapers, and textbooks.Focus on one particular topic. Do not write five different essays about a single subject. This is a true essay prompt that is rarely used. Science: A good science essay should highlight and support the idea that humans are changing the environment around them. Explain the method of ch ange in terms of observable phenomena. Focus on connections between the natural and human environment. Discuss and document human innovation.Art: Students must understand and identify the most important aspects of art and culture. Be sure to use examples that demonstrate these concepts. Finally, list the rules that students can follow to write about art and culture.
